We've been busy during these holidays, updating our software and redesigning the look of the site, which was long past due for a refresher.
Literary Mama was founded over five years ago by a small group of writers who first met as part of a Berkeley, California writing group led by Amy Hudock. Amy and that initial group of mother-writers - including Joanne Hartman, Rebecca Kaminsky, Sybil Lockhart, Sophia Raday, Heidi Raykeil, and Rachel Sarah -- worked with Andrea Buchanan (in Philadelphia) to establish Literary Mama. Today, we're over thirty editors working from three different countries to publish work in eight sections - all of which will now be easier to read!
So poke around: you can subscribe to feeds of your favorite sections and columns; you can share our writing with your friends easily via email, Facebook, Twitter and the like. You can comment on all of our writing. The look is new; the writing is as good as ever. So pull up your laptop and sit for a spell; we've got a lot of catching up to do.
