Amy Stockwell Mercer is a freelance writer living in Charleston, SC with her husband and three sons. An MFA graduate in Creative Writing from Queens University, she writes about art and artist profiles for Charleston Magazine, The City Paper, Charleston Art Mag, and Art Papers. Amy also writes about living with chronic illness, and is finishing a book about women with diabetes for Demos Health. Do you---or does someone you know---have an interesting story about changing careers? The Working Chronicles will publish the top stories in our online magazine and publicize them on Facebook and Twitter. Your story may also be included in a future book.
Submit stories on the topic of career transitions of 1,000 words or less to submissions@workingchronicles.com by March 18th, 2011. These can be autobiographical or interviews with someone else.
