This will be a "how-to" for baby boomers who now have time to write.

Chapter should be 3,000 to 4,000 words in length and can be authored by up to three writers. Contributors will receive one complimentary copy per published chapter and a discount on additional copies.

To Submit:  Email two chapter topics--each described in two sentences--and a brief bio for each contributor by November 30, 2012 to smallwood (at) tm (dot) net. Please put RETIREMENT/Last Name on the subject line.

This anthology will be published by Scarecrow Press and will be edited by Carol Smallwood and Dr. Christine Redman-Waldeyer. Carol co-edited Women on Poetry: Writing, Revising, Publishing and Teaching; Christine is an assistant professor and coordinator of the Journalism Option Program at Passaic County Community College in Paterson, New Jersey.

The Literary Mama Blog Editor searches for mama-centric news you can use — including information about publishing opportunities and literacy efforts; essays and writing prompts that motivate and inspire; and announcements about events, classes, and workshops. The current blog editors are Amanda Jaros and Dina Relles; read their bios here, and here.
