Literary Mama writing about the many faces of motherhood
Call for Submissions: Hip Mama

Hip Mama is a worker-owned collective that publishes a thematic quarterly of the personal stories of radically diverse experiences of parenting to promote solidarity and compassion across all boundaries.

They are currently accepting submissions for Issue 57: Hip Mama Retrospective.

"We see things more clearly and understand them more fully once they are behind us and we look back, that’s why they say hindsight is 20/20. We want to hear your hindsight stories! Or, if you’ve ever read an essay in Hip Mama and wondered what happened to that Mama or really had something touch you, we want to hear about it! We’d love to hear from past writers and have them share the continuations of their stories, or feel free to write about another way your life, parenting, your dreams or challenges have evolved since reading or writing for this magazine."

Deadline: April 1, 2013
