Literary Mama writing about the many faces of motherhood
Spark your family’s writing at Wonderopolis

As the temperatures cool and first report cards come out,  has your family's spark for learning and writing begun to flicker? I know mine has. This week, I'm visiting Wonderopolis, a companion site for the National Center for Families Learning.  Each day, the site provides a "Wonder of the Day" to get families thinking about the world and about learning together. This week, the wonders center on Halloween. Maybe it's time for you and your family to write some ghost stories?

The Literary Mama Blog Editor searches for mama-centric news you can use — including information about publishing opportunities and literacy efforts; essays and writing prompts that motivate and inspire; and announcements about events, classes, and workshops. The current blog editors are Laura Roberts and Rudri Patel; read their bios here and here.
