We are currently hiring a Newsletter Editor.

The Newsletter Editor creates a monthly electronic newsletter promoting our most recent issue of Literary Mama as well as our most recent blog posts. As a savvy marketer, this individual manages our subscriber database; monitors open and click rates; and understands how a newsletter can be used to promote a product.

Qualifications and Expectations

  • Proficient in writing and formatting email marketing tools (we use MailChimp)
  • Experience with group email conversations (we use Yahoo), and cloud-sharing programs (we use Google Drive and Google Calendar)
  • Able to work independently yet maintain affiliation with a team who meets and completes projects via cyberspace
  • Organized, detail- and deadline-oriented
  • 1 to 3 hours a month.
