Deborah Gang is originally from Washington, D.C. but settled in Kalamazoo, Michigan, after attending graduate school there. She worked for many years as a psychotherapist and resumed her first love, writing, in 2007. Her research was published in Education and Treatment of Children and her poems “Don’t Talk to Strangers” and “How to Enjoy the Beach” were published in Encore. Last week, she was surprised to find that she had completed the first draft of a novel. She is registered on Facebook as “Deborah Carol” because FB didn’t like her last name.
