Melissa Crowe earned her MFA from Sarah Lawrence College and her Ph.D. in English from University of Georgia. She is the author of two chapbooks of poetry, Cirque du Crève-Cœur, published in 2008 by dancing girl press, and Girl, Giant, published in 2013 by Finishing Line Press. She edits at Beloit Poetry Journal and lives in Asheville, North Carolina, with her husband, Mark, and their daughter, Annabelle.
