Susan Celia Greenfield is a Professor of English literature at Fordham University. Her short stories have appeared in Cimarron Review, A Room of One’s Own, and online in Big Bridge. Her online op-eds and essays can be found in CNN Opinion, The Huffington Post, The Los Angeles Review of Books, Ms. Magazine Blog , and PBS Need to Know. She is the author of many scholarly articles, a co-edited anthology called Inventing Maternity and a book entitled Mothering Daughters. She has a twenty-three year old daughter and a nineteen year old son and lives with her husband in New York City, where they both bemoan their empty nest.
