About the Class: Advanced Private Study gives students who have completed Violeta's Mama Poet Workshop, or who have other previous poetry experience, the opportunity to continue their study with Violeta. Private Study consists of 8 weeks of readings, assignments, and email discussion tailored to the student's particular areas of interest. The Private Study student will also have the opportunity to polish more work (between 4-8 strong, finished pieces), deepen in their craft, read more widely, and consult Violeta about possible submission venues, if publication is amongst their goals.
